For the Epilepsy Learning House, an initiative of Kempenhaeghe and SEIN, Obryza filmed and produced 8 videos in 180 degrees. In the VR 180 videos, actors reenact 8 different seizures/scenarios in a typical living situation within a care group. The videos are used as educational material to prepare trainees for epileptic seizures in their clients.
The videos were shot in 4K and can be viewed in 180 degrees using a VR headset and smartphone. The camera/viewer is positioned as if present in the situation. The viewer is also looked at by both clients and caregivers to enhance engagement. Since various actions take place within the scene, the viewer needs to look around, which increases alertness.
